Last week, we sweated out a really tough decision to announce the 10 finalists. We received applications from 75 innovative companies who all have solutions that can help retailers to improve their performance in a variety of ways; more sales, better efficiency, less waste and stronger customer loyalty. Our panel of expert judges reviewed dozens of applications and scored them based on their business merits, technical strength, product maturity and alignment with X5 and the Russian market.
It is fitting that the finalists represent all of the strategic priorities that X5 intends to address in 2019-2020: a smoother Customer Experience, more efficient In-Store operation, seamless Supply Chain logistics and better Back Office tools. The judges will certainly have their work cut out for them.
